Strong analytic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in an international team and to communicate specialized knowledge to less experienced peers.

Synopsys Zurich office is entirely dedicated to TCAD. Development, research, customer support, and customer service, about 40 people in total, work together on the full spectrum of TCAD activities.
The Synopsys TCAD team is now looking for an R&D engineer based in its Zurich office. The candidate will work on advanced physical models for semiconductor device simulation, in particular, on deterministic methods to solve the Boltzmann equation. The scope of the work covers selection, evaluation, and development of physical models, model implementation, testing and debugging, writing user documentation, and providing internal support. The candidate must work in a large existing C++ code base and is expected to contribute knowledge and ideas to direct the further development of our software.
