Job Skills: A B.S. Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical), Materials Science or Science related (Chemistry, Physics etc.) is required. Minimum five years experience in sales and/or marketing function in electronic materials or equipment for the use of electronic materials. Experience in the semiconductor industry or compound semiconductor industry. Knowledge of either the semiconductor or compound semiconductor business market segments is essential in order to communicate effectively with customers who are engineers and scientists. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills. Ability to organize and able prioritize day to day activities to effectively manage multi-tasking and meeting customer expectations in a timely manner. Dow Advanced Materials has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Sales Manager for the Electronic Materials business located in North Andover MA.Dow Advanced Materials, a division of The Dow Chemical Company, develops innovative products and solutions that address societal megatrends, including Energy, Transportation and Infrastructure, Health and Nutrition, and Consumerism. We are a global leader in the major markets we serve, including electronics, building and construction, packaging, coatings, water purification, and adhesives, to name a few.This position has responsibility for sales of products offered by the Metalorganic Technologies business to the compound semiconductor industry and the semiconductor industry in North America. All products are chemical vapor deposition metalorganic precursors. The position is ideally based in the business headquarters in North Andover, MA., however there is potential for the position to be based close to a key customer.Key Responsibilities:
- Development of new business opportunities to grow the business in North America.
- Business growth and maintenance of existing client accounts.
- Developing and executing account strategies for existing clients and potential clients
- Customer relationship building.
- Monthly updates on sales forecasts.
- Supporting all customer needs and coordinating necessary support from other functions within Dow.
- Providing quick response to potential customer complaints and coordinating all complaint resolution activities with the Quality function.
- Participating in trade shows and conferences
- Approximately 50% or more travel within the U.S.
