IQE, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager for III-V epitaxial wafer foundry. This individual will be responsible for all sustaining and developmental engineering activities for the company’s production epitaxy systems.

 Responsibilities will include:

 Day-to-day management of sustaining process engineering activities and associated engineering personnel for company’s production epitaxial reactors (between 6 and 10 reactors active at any one time).

Driving all troubleshooting and problem solving activities so that issues are resolved efficiently and effectively in a manner that prevents re-occurrence.

Responsible for driving process improvements in manner consistent with overall business plan.

Monitoring yield and throughput metrics and driving improvement activities to ensure profitable operation that is consistent with overall business plan

Collaborate with maintenance and facilities departments to ensure that equipment is adequately set up to achieve manufacturing goals

Collaborate with product engineering to ensure to ensure that process is adequately tuned and controlled to exceed customer demands.
