Semiconductor Process Technician

Fixed Term Contract for 3.5 years.
We are seeking a technician to join an expanding team working in the device fabrication cleanroom within the School of Engineering.
The cleanroom provides a broad range of capabilities in support of the fabrication of devices from a range of semiconductor materials and forms part of the University of Warwick and the University of Birmingham Science City Research Alliance (SCRA). You will work under the leadership of the cleanroom facility manager and will principally be involved in activities associated with semiconductor device fabrication, maintaining and developing cleanroom infrastructure and capability and providing support to cleanroom operations.
You will have previous experience of working in a physical science laboratory environment. You will have good GCSEs at C or above or equivalent in English, Maths and Science and a
HNC or degree in a physical science focused subject is desirable. You will have good general IT skills and you will be willing to learn new skills and techniques.
