      The Field Service Engineer reports to the Customer Support Manager. His objective is to fulfil customer needs and expectations by consquent work on service task and projects, to achive and maintain the maxium customer satisfaction for all customers within the AIXTRON group of companies.

    • Perform and supervise installation, technical system checks and commissioning of equipment

      Perform service and maintenance on new as well as on used systems

      Introduction of new equipment to the customer

      Support of colleagues in other regions and training of employees and customers

      Follow up of service related activities

      Plan and carry out service activities

      Timely Execution of service tasks

      Work independently and on own initiative to deal with customers and to analyze and solve

      Processing of spare parts orders

      Keep contact to all customers in order to analyze specific needs and requirements within the

      Provide and present, if required, performance data and technical presentations to the customer

      Take part in providing the customers with a 24H 7D service support coverage

      Reporting and documentation of failures, design issues, etc. and follow up on solution findings

      Analysis of technical problems resulting from customers requests

      Documentation of customer contracts, project related files, technical information / solutions, etc.

      Consulting of the supervisor and other colleagues in business related questions (e.g. quality,

      Ensure the proper function / condition of all personal tools and safety equipment

      Prepare and submit all administrative requirements, such as time sheets, travel and expense

      Remain current with technology, training and new components installed in the equipment

      Being able to work with minimal or no supervision

      Expertise in the use of PCs and corresponding software (MS Office products, etc.)

      Japanese communication skill is required
